Team Price hosted a special luncheon on Nov. 2, to recognize the dedicated efforts of LA Sanitation & Environment (LASAN) Washington Yard crew and the CD 9 Rapid Response team, who work tirelessly to maintain the cleanliness of South Central LA neighborhoods.
During the gathering, dozens of frontline workers combatting residential and commercial dumping in District 9 received certificates of appreciation acknowledging their contributions and constituent-centered, get-it-done approach.
“It is long overdue that we acknowledge these hard workers, many of whom clean up the same hotspots over and over again yet they maintain the same level of excellence,” said Councilmember Price. “Team Price eagerly looks forward to honoring more of our City family, the dedicated individuals on the grounds day-in and day-out, taking care of our community."
