Councilman Price led a special presentation in the City Council on Nov. 29 in honor of Soledad Enrichment Action (SEA) as they celebrated an incredible milestone – 50 years of dedicated service to Angelenos. Founded in 1972 by a group of fierce mothers whose sons were victims of street violence, SEA has been a force for positive change, fostering peace and delivering social services across South Central LA neighborhoods.

For half a century, SEA has been instrumental in the lives of families, providing crucial support to steer youth away from gangs, drugs, and violence. Through their community programming and robust engagement, they have made a significant impact, offering workforce development, intervention and prevention services that have changed countless lives for the better.

During the presentation, Councilman Price praised the partnership between his Council Office and SEA, emphasizing its role in strengthening communities, one neighborhood at a time.
