The City of Los Angeles will be rolling out a COVID-19 financial recovery program for small businesses. The $25 million “Comeback Checks” program is launching on Oct. 26. The grant program is made possible through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), which allocated a total of $37 million in grants for small businesses in the City of Los Angeles.

Funding will be distributed over several rounds. The application period for Round 1 begins on Oct. 26 and closes on Nov. 2. In all, $5,000 grants will be available to 5,000 small businesses and restaurants impacted by COVID-19 to assist with the economic recovery efforts.

EWDD is serving as administrator for this program. Contact your local BusinessSource Center for assistance.
