The District 9 Constituent Service Center will once again serve as a deployment site for the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, which is scheduled to take place from Jan. 23 to 25 throughout Los Angeles County. This is a community-based effort with thousands of volunteers taking part in the yearly event.

This three-day effort is part of an annual census that aims to count our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Through the count, the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) and its partners are able to direct and advocate for services to best support the needs of the unhoused.

The District 9 count hub will take place on Jan. 25, at 4301 S. Central Ave. Click here to learn more about the count or to register to become a volunteer, please visit https://www.theycountwillyou.org/
